PROPOSED RECOMMENDATION

To award a construction contract to Tom Willoughby Ltd at a value of £171,301.67 for the remodelling of accommodation to form SEN provision at Thirsk School and Sixth Form College.

BACKGROUND TO SUPPORT THE RECOMMENDATION

A competitiveprocurement exercise was undertaken during April and May 2022 utilising the YORbuild framework.  The scheme is programmed to commence on site in July 2022 and is due to complete September 2022.

LEGAL AND GOVERNANCE COMPLIANCE

A competitive procurement exercise was undertaken by the Council’s Procurement and Contract Management Service.

RECOMMENDATION

That a construction contract be awarded to Tom Willoughby Ltd.
